Reflections.

Someone once told me that if someone is being nice to you, that’s probably because you’re a nice person too. And this thought has stayed with me since then. How often do we think about how our words and actions affect the other person? That these are the outlets that reflect a part of your own personality.

We’ve often heard about the word “karma” being used when someone gets payback for their wrongdoings. Karma doesn’t mean that only bad things will happen to you. It means your actions define what you get in return. Hence, if you’re sending out good vibes around, you will receive them in return. Basically, what goes around, comes around. I am a true believer in karma. And I believe that we need to start taking responsibility for our actions. No person in this world is perfect. But, if we start making a conscious effort in improving the lives around us, we ourselves are paving the path to living a fulfilling life.

We could all start by doing tiny bits of kindness like saying Hi to your neighbor, smiling at a stranger, checking up on a friend, sometimes going out of your way to help someone, providing food to someone who needs it, celebrating your friends/families small and big successes, etc. It doesn’t always have to be a huge gesture, just remember a small deed of kindness can make someone’s day. We are all fighting our own battles. So, it wouldn’t really hurt to try to make someone’s life a little better, in our own little way.

Right now, we need kindness a little more in this world than usual!

Spread love and light.🌟

Another love.

How often have you tried to compare your love? For people who have had more than one relationships, I’m sure we have all thought about how different our love life has been. Changing, evolving or even exacerbating.

I feel we are all gifted with this astounding ability to love. In today’s world, feelings are what separates the humans from robots. Even though technology has reached to a level where machines are being taught human emotions, it’s that throbbing heart of yours that makes you human. I’ve come to accept that it is indeed possible to fall in love more than once. How else will we ever grow or learn from our mistakes? Heartbreaks are terrible, they make you say and do things that you never thought you could. But once you’re over it and you begin to look at the bright side, you can actually ponder over what you learnt in your relationship. Try to keep the good abilities and focus on how you could improve on the bad ones. So that when you’re ready for the next one, you know you’re taking efforts to improve. Maybe things didn’t work out for a reason. But it’s so important to believe that someday they will. And that belief is all that takes to keep going on, while you work on yourself in this crazy world.

Also, you may notice that sometimes the love you have now doesn’t have the same intensity that you had in your previous relationship. But that doesn’t mean you don’t love your current partner enough. It means you have evolved to a point where this kind of love is what you need, what you want and what you think will last. This doesn’t mean you’re settling down for someone, it means you’re being wise enough to find a partner who understands you in the way you want to be understood. And for some the intensity is even more with their current partner. I feel it’s all about being compatible at different things with different people. And it just requires that one time where the right ones click. Just like Yin and Yang.

Knowing you can love different people in different ways, all you gotta do is put your love out there. Even one brave chance can lead you to the greatest love of your life. Just because your previous relationships didn’t work out, do you really want to waste that opportunity by not even giving it a try?
